COURSE APPROVAL DEADLINES

NOTE: Course proposals must be fully approved by the deadlines listed below in order to be effective that term. Please allow plenty of time for proposals to travel through workflow and be reviewed by the Senate. If a proposal is not on track to be approved by the deadline, the effective term will be updated during workflow.

FALL 2023
05/05/23 Deadline for department schedulers to submit approved prerequisite modifications or additions to Registrar scheduler. (See note above.)
05/06/23 Schedule goes live to students; no course number, title, unit, or changes in modality. Existing crosslists should also not be able to add another department. Brand new courses are fine up until the first day of instruction on 09/28.
05/22/23 Enrollment begins.

WINTER 2024
11/03/23 Deadline for department schedulers to submit approved prerequisite modifications or additions to Registrar scheduler. (See note above.)
11/04/23 Schedule goes live to students; no course number, title, unit, or changes in modality. Existing crosslists should also not be able to add another department. Brand new courses are fine up until the first day of instruction on 01/08.
11/20/23 Enrollment begins.

SPRING 2024
02/09/24 Deadline for department schedulers to submit approved prerequisite modifications or additions to Registrar scheduler. (See note above.)
02/10/24 Schedule goes live to students; no course number, title, unit, or changes in modality. Existing crosslists should also not be able to add another department. Brand new courses are fine up until the first day of instruction on 04/01.
02/26/24 Enrollment begins.

FALL 2024
05/03/24 Deadline for department schedulers to submit approved prerequisite modifications or additions to Registrar scheduler. (See note above.)
05/04/24 Schedule goes live to students; no course number, title, unit, or changes in modality. Existing crosslists should also not be able to add another department. Brand new courses are fine up until the first day of instruction on 09/26.
05/20/24 Enrollment begins.
